Obstetrics:

We provide Pre-Conception Advice practically to women with long-standing conditions such as diabetes, blood pressure, epilepsy, thyroid disease etc.

We also have a wide experience in dealing with Repeated Pregnancy Loss (recurrent miscarriage) and auto-immune disorders affecting pregnancy and conception.

With the presence of high quality 4D Vaginal and Abdominal Ultrasonography our doctors are able to screen and diagnoses Fetal Structural Abnormalities such as neurological defects as early as the first trimester. In combination with the availability of new maternal blood tests we can also screen for Fetal Chromosomal Disorders including Downs Syndrome with a high degree of accuracy.

Our clinicians, in liaison with an experienced Radiologist, perform Fetal Anomaly Ultrasound Scans using the most up-to- date ultrasound machines with 4D technology. Thus, offering the best fetal images possible while sharing this experience with the parents giving them the opportunity to “meet” their baby while still in the womb.

The Antenatal Care provided by our clinicians will encompass the routine assessment of mother and baby with attention to every possible detail which may require dietary advice, further investigations or medical treatment. We also manage high risk pregnancies complicated by gestational diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disease and multiple pregnancies.

In the third trimester, the Birth Plan will be discussed jointly with the mother and her husband, with professional advice and recommendations for a safe and expedient delivery. Post-Natal Care will encompass guidance with breastfeeding, Kegel pelvic exercises, wound care and advice regarding the physical and psychological burdens associated with a new baby.

Gynaecology:

We at Elite Medical Center have the required expertise to Diagnose and Manage the various gynecological problems facing the young adolescent girl, the young adult female or the post-menopausal woman.
