Dr.Rasha was born in Kuwait. She was raised between Kuwait, England and Egypt from which comes her diverse cultural background. Dr.Rasha obtained her Bachelor degree in Medicine and General Surgery (MBBCh) from the Faculty of Medicine - Mansoura University which is one of most reputable medical schools in Egypt. She graduated with Honors in 2000, after which, she started her career in the field of Laboratory Medicine. Dr.Rasha spent her residency between the Clinical Pathology dept. –Mansoura University and the Egyptian Blood Transfusion Services. In 2005, Dr.Rasha obtained her Master’s Degree in Clinical Pathology and Haematology (MD) with Honors. Working in the Blood Transfusion Field encouraged her to further obtain the Egyptian Fellowship in Blood Transfusion Medicine (FEBTM). To secure a full grasp of all aspects of her field, Dr Rasha obtained two more managerial Diplomas from the American University in Cairo (AUC); The Professional Post-Graduate Diploma in Total Quality Management for Healthcare Reform (TQMH) and The Professional Post-Graduate Diploma in Healthcare Management (HHMG). Having the experience in both the Technical and Managerial aspects, Dr.Rasha soon became a Certified Professional Trainer in Hospital Management (TOT). Dr.Rasha moved to Doha in 2013 with her husband.

• Hamad Medical Corporation and Private Sectors in Doha (Technical and Managerial role) • Experience in all Laboratory fields; Haematology, Clinical Chemistry, Microbiology, Clinical Microscopy, Immunology, Quality and Transfusion Medicine. • Currently; Head of Laboratory at Elite Medical Center –Doha.
